ASSESSMENT OF THE SUSTAINABILITY OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AS A FACTOR IN THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL AREAS
Abstract. The growing problems in the functioning of the agro-industrial complex are occurring against the backdrop of growing sanctions pressure on the Russian economy, limiting its ability to fully utilize its potential due to restricted access to new technologies, high-yielding crop seeds, and high-yielding livestock breeds. This article examines the factors affecting the sustainability of agricultural production and their impact on the socio-economic development of rural areas. The results of the research conducted using the Republic of Bashkortostan as an example demonstrate that achieving sustainable agricultural production through the rational use of natural factors and biological methods for increasing crop yields and livestock productivity should, accordingly, lead to the socio-economic development of rural areas. The development of cooperation in agricultural production also holds great promise for the development of rural areas.

ASSESSMENT OF STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN LAND USE AND RISKS OF SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AT THE REGIONAL LEVEL
Abstract. The article examines structural shifts in cropland use and their impact on the sustainability of agricultural production at the regional level. The aim of the study is to develop a methodological approach for assessing structural changes in land use, taking into account the degree of land potential utilization and the manageability of crop structure. Based on official statistical data, author’s indicators of structural shift intensity, land potential utilization and an integrated structural-land risk index are calculated. A typology of regions according to the level of structural risk is developed, and a correlation analysis of the relationship between structural and land factors and agricultural sustainability is conducted. The results demonstrate that unrealized land potential is the key source of structural-land risk, while moderate structural shifts combined with high land use manageability contribute to greater stability of agricultural production. The proposed methodological framework can be used in the development of regional agricultural policies and land involvement programs. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of a comprehensive methodology for assessing structural and land risks, which is based on the integration of indicators of structural shifts in cultivated areas, the sustainability of economic results, and the degree of realization of land potential. Unlike existing approaches that focus primarily on analyzing the dynamics of crop structure, the proposed methodology allows for identifying the nonlinear impact of structural transformations on the sustainability of agricultural production and creating a typology of regions that takes into account hidden land risks.

EFFICIENCY AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF BEEKEEPING IN THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN
Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the efficiency and sustainability of beekeeping development in the Russian Federation, with a focus on regional disparities and the specific role of the Republic of Bashkortostan as one of the key centers of the industry. The aim of the study is to move from a descriptive analysis of honey production volumes to an assessment of qualitative characteristics of beekeeping development based on the integration of production, natural-resource, and institutional factors. The methodological framework of the research includes statistical and comparative analysis, indicator normalization and expert assessment methods, as well as an authors integrated indicator of regional beekeeping efficiency. The results demonstrate that regional leadership in honey production volumes does not necessarily correspond to high industry efficiency. It is shown that the Republic of Bashkortostan is characterized by high sustainability of resource and institutional components, while production and market components remain vulnerable, which constrains the realization of natural potential. The findings substantiate the need for transforming beekeeping toward cooperation, technological modernization, and the development of organized market channels as key conditions for enhancing the long-term sustainability of the industry.

ON THE ISSUE OF ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF REGIONAL SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP INSTITUTIONS
Abstract. The article is devoted to the development of an optimal method for assessing the effectiveness of the functioning of regional institutions of social partnership. The authors propose a combined approach that combines numerical indicators of the work of the tripartite commissions; traditional analysis of documents (minutes of meetings); hearing reports at meetings of the Russian Tripartite Commission on the level of development of institutions of tripartism in specific regions of the Russian Federation; questioning representatives of regional trade unions and employers’ associations. This method makes it possible to use quantitative and qualitative research tools as effectively as possible to formulate generalizing conclusions about the current state of affairs at the regional level of the Russian social partnership system. The identified problems need to be deeply understood and typologized, and then try to solve them through the joint efforts of government representatives, trade unions and employers’ associations. It is proposed to pay special attention to the extent to which the trilateral commissions of the subjects of the Russian Federation are immersed in the work of providing comprehensive support to participants in a Special Military Operation and their family members. According to the authors, at the present stage there is a need to introduce unified regional standards of social partnership, which requires strong-willed efforts on the part of the federal center.

THE EVOLUTION OF THE CONCEPT OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN FOREIGN ECONOMIC THOUGHT: FROM INNOVATION THEORY TO THE CONCEPT OF SHARED VALUES
Abstract. The article provides a retrospective analysis of the formation and development of the conceptual framework of social entrepreneurship within the framework of foreign economic thought. The purpose of the study is to identify the key stages, theoretical foundations, and the evolution process of the concept from its origins in the classical theory of entrepreneurship by J. Schumpeter to the modern paradigm of creating shared values. The methodology is based on historical-economic and comparative-analytical approaches, which allow us to trace the transformation of the term and its semantic boundaries. The results of the study demonstrate the nature of evolution: from the emphasis on the individual innovator-reformer, through the stage of institutionalization and structural definition, to the social mission in hybridity theories, and finally, to the strategic concept of shared values. It is concluded that the modern conceptual framework of social entrepreneurship integrates economic, managerial, and sociological discourses, reflecting a broader trend towards blurring the rigid boundaries between sectors in solving complex social problems. The final part of the paper discusses the prospects for adapting foreign concepts to Russian institutional realities.

PROBABILISTIC MODELING OF DEMOGRAPHIC PROCESSES
Abstract. The article employs modern methods of analyzing demographic policy in Russia and Bashkortostan, utilizing Bayesian statistics, regression modeling, and risk theory to forecast fertility scenarios and evaluate the effectiveness of support measures. Having analyzed Federal State Statistics Service data for 2007–2024 (fertility rates, infant mortality rates, life expectancy, marriage and divorce rates), a probabilistic approach was developed to interpret demographic indicators as random variables, where Bayes’ theorem updates prior expectations as new data becomes available. Special emphasis is placed on modeling the impact of factors such as income, housing, and maternity capital on the probability of having a second child through logistic regression and time series analysis with interval forecasts, enabling the prediction of demographic crisis risks and the ultimate effectiveness of government programs.

RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGY AS A MECHANISM FOR TRANSFORMING RETAIL TRADE
Abstract. This article analyzes the potential of RFID technology as a comprehensive solution for automating logistics operations, which combines the physical principles of electromagnetic interaction, technical devices (tags, antennas, and readers), and software infrastructure. Retail trade is one of the fastest-growing segments of the Russian economy, with a significant practical implementation and use of digital solutions. The escalation of digital products that cover the trading process is steadily bringing the industry closer to the leading pool of digitalization industries (banks, ICT, insurance, media, industry, etc.), becoming the main tool for attracting consumers and increasing profits. Currently, radio-frequency identification technology is becoming particularly relevant, as it allows for the automatic collection of product supply data without the need for visual contact. The technology is most widely used in retail and wholesale trade. However, RFID technology plays a key role in the digitalization of other industries, including automotive, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and logistics. The technology works by wirelessly transmitting data through radio waves between a reader device and a tag on a product, allowing for the mass reading of hundreds of objects within the antenna’s range without the need for unpacking. The main advantage of this technology is its ability to conduct a complete inventory of a warehouse with high accuracy in a short amount of time. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the potential of RFID technology as a tool for supply chain management and accounting.

GENERATION Z: ESCAPE FROM WORK (IN SEARCH OF POSITIVE FREEDOM)
Abstract. The generation that entered the labor market in the post-pandemic reality is demonstrating a radical break with established work paradigms. Unlike previous generations, for whom stability and career advancement often dominated personal values, today’s youth is rethinking the very nature of employment. Their attitude toward work is shaped by digital socialization, economic turbulence, and environmental awareness, creating a unique value landscape. This generation perceives work not as an obligation, but as a tool for self-actualization, where the significance of the activity prevails over its formal attributes. The phenomenon of “escape from work” in this context is not a passive avoidance of responsibility, but a conscious strategy for achieving positive freedom — a concept that dates back to the philosophical works of I. Berlin and E. Fromm. While negative freedom implies the absence of external constraints, positive freedom is interpreted as the opportunity to realize one’s inner potential through meaningful choice. For Generation Z, this is expressed in a rejection of routine employment models in favor of hybrid freelance and project-based work, where creativity and social significance become key motivators.

ADAPTATION OF HOUSEHOLDS AND SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES TO CHANGES IN THE TAX SPHERE
Abstract. This article analyzes the adaptation of economic agents (households, small and medium-sized enterprises) to tax reforms. Tax adaptation is considered as a complex interplay between participants in tax legal relations and their actions, which determine the tax and business strategies of small businesses and individuals. An analysis of data for the period 2021–2024 revealed the limited contribution of the self-employed and individual entrepreneurs to budget formation. Key issues are identified: information asymmetry, rising transaction costs of adaptation, and a divergence in agents’ strategic behavior toward legal evasion and shadow activity. Proposals for addressing these issues are formulated, aimed at improving the effectiveness of tax changes and reducing the costs of adaptation.

RISK MANAGEMENT IN INNOVATIVE COMPANY DEVELOPMENT IN MODERN CONDITIONS
Abstract. The relevance of this study is determined by the increasing pressure of sanctions on the Russian economy and the strategic need for import substitution, making innovative development not just a growth driver but a key factor for survival. At the same time, innovation is associated with a high level of uncertainty and specific risks, which traditional risk management systems in Russian companies are often unable to effectively mitigate. The aim of this article is to develop approaches to integrating effective risk management into the innovative development process of Russian companies focused on import substitution. Using systems analysis methods and a summary of scientific literature, this paper provides a critical review of the current state of risk management in Russian companies, identifying systemic problems such as reactivity, fragmentation, and a focus on operational rather than strategic risks. Key risks of innovation programs in the context of import substitution are considered, including technological, personnel, operational, and regulatory risks. The study proposes a model for integrated risk management for innovative projects based on the principles of flexibility, iterativeness, and end-to-end team engagement at all stages — from identification to monitoring. Particular attention is paid to the role of government support as a factor in mitigating financial and commercial risks.
